COMMUNITY HOUSING AOTEAROA - NGĀ WHARERAU O AOTEATORA

Community Housing Aotearoa (CHA) is a national charitable organisation for the community housing sector, working with community housing providers, developers, consultants and councils to promote community housing, including public policy advice, advocacy, training and events, registration coaching, and advice and information. The CHA Better Practice Guide focuses on standards to improve service delivery including tenancy management, asset management, tenant rights and participation, and working with the community.

CHA is working with the NZ Centre for Sustainable Cities at the University of Otago to develop a Tenant Wellbeing survey to improve the quality and accessibility of information on tenant wellbeing.

The CHA vision is that every New Zealander is well-housed in a warm, safe, dray and affordable home, as their human right.

Through its delivery arm, Community Housing Solutions, CHA provides technical consulting services to members and community housing providers seeking specialist advice on social and affordable housing.
